Phase 1 – (starting May 31)
- Vulnerable people and family members of vulnerable
people should use their own discretion attending in person services.
- Limited number of Lifepoint Church attendees (50 per service)
- No children’s ministries provided
- No passing offering baskets
- Discourage handshakes, hugs and other physical contact
- Encourage strict social distancing protocol of minimum of 6’
maintained at all times of non-family
members
- Specific entrance and exit points
- No lines forming in bathrooms (two per restroom at a time if
maintain social distance)
- No loitering before or after services inside of the facility. No groups of 10 or more in close proximity.
Phase 2 – (starting June 14)
- All guidelines in Phase 1 still apply except:
- Consider increasing number of
attendees allowed.
- Consider providing children’s
ministries if guidelines can be met
- Gathering before or after services inside of facility acceptable
as long as social distance protocol is considered. No
groups of 30 or more in close proximity.
Phase 3 – (starting June 28)
- Vulnerable people should limit their
exposure to others.
- Consider no limit on attendees based
off of success/challenges of previous 2 phases.
- All services/ministries in
consideration of re-opening.
- Social distancing encouraged but choice of each individual.
- All normal entrances open.
- Gathering before or after services
inside of the facility okay as long as social distance protocol is
considered. No groups of 90 or more in
close proximity.
Phase Out – (starting July 12)
- Vulnerable People can attend in person
services but should limit exposure to others.
- No limit on attendees
- All services/ministries open.
- Social distancing encouraged but
choice of each individual

Phase 1 Opening
Guidelines
Guidelines for facilities:
- Prior to and following the in-person service, the
facility will be deep-cleaned with detailed sanitizing on commonly utilized surfaces (ie: door
knobs, hand rails, light switches and surfaces in bathroom areas.)
- The in-person service is limited to 50
individuals.
- The above number shall not include Pastors, Worship
Team members, Serve Team Members or other personnel required to conduct the
service.
- Family units that live together may sit close together
but otherwise the maximum social distancing possible will be used. The minimum social distance used will be from
the CDC recommended protocol which is a minimum distance of 6 feet.
- A single point of entry and designated exits will be
used to encourage a one-way traffic pattern to ensure social distancing.
- Hand sanitizer will be available for use throughout
the facility.
- Exterior doors will be propped open prior to and after
services to minimize touching of handles.
- Facility staff will be on hand continually sanitizing
surfaces.
Guidelines for Attendees and Serve
Team Members:
Your care group leader will
communicate which service you should attend so that attendance can be capped at
the proposed numbers and minimize the chance of turning people away. The below
guidelines will be communicated to attendees prior to signing up. Additionally, a summary of precautions Lifepoint
is taking can be communicated so they can make an informed decision to attend
in person services.
- High-risk individuals will be advised not to attend the in-person
service.
- Guests who live with someone who is part of the vulnerable
population should not attend in person services.
- Guests who are known to have had any contact with known COVID-19
confirmed cases within 14 days should not attend.
- Advise all attendees to perform temperature checks at home on
prior to attending the service- if temperature is over your normal baseline
temperature, DO NOT attend.
- Individuals that are ill or have fevers cannot attend.
- Attendees will be advised to bring their own PPE, including masks
and gloves.
- Attendees will be advised not to engage in hand shaking, hugs or other
physical contact.
- Attendees will be advised to wash their clothes following the
service.
- Attendees will be notified of the no
loitering guideline inside the church before and after services.
- Staff/Serve Team Members shall wash their hands frequently.
Phase 2 Opening
Guidelines
Upon the State of Kansas
entering phase 2 AND prior services demonstrated the ability to continue
meeting guidelines with an increase in attendees, we can move into LIFEPOINT
Phase 2.
Guidelines for facilities:
- Prior to and following the in-person service, the facility will be
deep-cleaned.
- The in-person service is limited to 50 individuals but may be
reassessed.
- The above number shall not include Pastors, Worship Team members,
AVL members, Serve Team Members or other personnel required to conduct the
service.
- Family units that live together may sit close together but
otherwise the maximum social distancing possible will be used. The minimum social distance used will be from

- Hand sanitizer will be available for use throughout the facility.
- Facility staff will be on hand sanitizing surfaces.

Phase Out Opening
Guidelines
Upon
the State of Kansas entering the phase out section of their guidance AND prior
services demonstrated we have the capacity and capability to resume normal
weekend services, we can move into the Phase Out portion of the reopen plan.
Guidelines for facilities:
- Facility will be cleaned as per
accepted practices and procedures.
- No limits of attendees beyond those
established by the fire code official.
- Attendees can social distance as they
see fit.
- All normal entrances will be in use.
- Hand sanitizer will be available for
use throughout the facility.
Guidelines for Attendees and Serve Team Members:
